About the Journal

This journal was first published in 1984 and the title was 'Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society' (pISSN 2586-288X; eISSN 2586-2898). The journal was renamed as ‘The Acupuncture’ in March 2014 and was changed to 'Journal of Acupuncture Research' from the November issue of 2017.
The abbreviated journal name is J Acupunct Res.

This journal is supported by a Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) Grant funded by the Korean Government.
